My training has been long and detailed, but appropriate and relevant.

Manual handling, substances hazardous to health, Riddor and Caldicot.

What is the logic behind taking me away from where I am doing my job to lecture me on stuff which is of no use or relevance to that job. I regard finding various reasons and excuses not to attend as something of a sport, but running rings around the intellectually challenged and pointless individuals who run these lectures is something of a hollow victory. This intrigued me, but when I saw this pale green entry shown here, I was smitten, and now I am about to tell you why that is. In limited quantity for TEN pieces labels per collector only. Looking more like a drowned rat, our peregrine falcon tries to keep all four eggs warm and dry during Sunday's downpour. Our own peregrines clearly struggled in Sunday's heavy rain and winds, but the lateness of hatching this year might well have saved their young. We glimpse the four unhatched eggs for a moment and a wonderful light-coloured patch of dry gravel around them. We checked what happened next. The rain and wind continued unabated even if the bells themselves ceased. Half an hour later our female was looking pretty wet herself. "We wish to express our solidarity with all those who suffer from any form of oppression and injustice, and with those in the world who have been silenced or marginalized. " - Oswaldo Paya "Solidarity is stronger than repression. Two years later Ales remains unjustly imprisoned. It is for that reason that activists in Belarus have designated today an International Day of Solidarity with Civil Society in Belarus. Please take a moment out of your day today to demonstrate your solidarity with civil society and the defenders of a free society in Belarus. Their struggle is also ours because we are all interconnected. Martin Luther King Jr. cool stuf on this blog with anoying pop ups check it here. This was a hospital that, in my relative's last several days there before going back to a nursing home for rehab, went live with a major vendor CPOE. Just by passing the nursing station/doctor's charting room on my relative's floor and opening my eyes and ears, I saw doctors and nurses struggling to take care of patients while "getting the bugs out of the system. "They had had received some classroom "training" in a static environment, but it was clear they were learning about a lot of "gotcha's" and unanticipated glitches in vivo. However, several later told me they "now knew what I was talking about" upon my relative's discharge, just several days into the go-live. One story I overheard during go-live especially sticks out in my mind. A newly-admitted patient who needed urgent heparinization did not receive the medication promptly. Physicians found no way to override, despite calls to the help desk, attempts by on site IT people and users from the parent hospital, etc. On the Hooked: Ethics, Medicine and Pharma blog, Dr Howard Brody critiqued a newspaper op-ed that ostensibly decried excessive litigation in health care, but also seemed unduly concerned with defending Avandia and Zyprexa, two drugs that did turn out to have more adverse effects than expected. NOPD investigators believe Clifford W. Two afternoon performances of Voices from the Hills offered visitors a grant opportunity to learn more about a few of the interesting people buried at the historic Fort Meade National Cemetery near Sturgis. The Memorial Day presentations were blessed by wonderful weather and splendid performances by area talent. The goal was to ". preserve our history, and honor those who came here in the service of their country. This was a recent custom order that scared the bejeezers out of me.

It is basically patterns that are already right here on my blog, with some simple additions, and voila! You have a little set that makes you look like an absolute pro! Do you remember the little monster costume Boo wore in the Monsters Inc movie? it looked like this: I was asked to make a newborn Boo costume with hat, diaper cover and booties.

Here is what I came up with: So I will tell you how I did it. The hat is the shell stitch beanie. I added some eyes and hair to the top, and some teeth on the bottom. I stuffed the eyes with poly-fill so that they would be stiff enough to stand up.

When the night sets in over the Wilhelminenhofstrasse.

A feeling of calm. This is not a beautiful street, but the Chinese restaurant at the corner looks friendly with its coloured lights, people passing by with their late shopping, a man has a bottle of beer in his hand. I still feel like a stranger here, but I start to like this place. My first thoughts being. 'Really! Do children really do this stuff? I've never noticed those kinds of behaviours in any of the children attending our nurseries! Surely, it's just a coincidence. Vegetables are the new fish. The past few summers I went out a few times deep sea fishing on a charter boat when I was at the New Jersey shore. Each time we would hardly catch anything. A few sea robins, stingrays, some dogfish and an occasional bass. I just figured it was bad luck. Over time, one of the mates got to know me. I asked him about the bad luck we seemed to have when I was aboard. He took me to the side and said, "we don't really catch fish anymore. " I was stunned. With the end of Sunday's action, most New York Islander and New York Ranger prospects are off on a break until after Christmas. Three Ranger prospects saw action on Sunday and they entered their holiday break with losses. No Islander prospect saw action on Sunday due to a light schedule. Let’s begin with this strange scene in the first reading. Before I explain the passage, recall some facts about Abram. God has called him from his homeland – the city of Ur, in what is today Iraq – to travel a long distance to what is now Israel and Palestine. Abram is already an old man, and he has no children – so he has a lot of reasons to doubt his future, and to doubt the promises God has made. So notice how the passage begins. God “took him outside and said: Look up at the sky and count the stars, if you can. Just so, he added, will your descendants be. ” Now, I wonder how many of you noticed something. The passage, a few lines later, describes the sun going down – meaning, it’s daytime when God does this! Why would God do that? Well, because it fit Abram’s situation. Just busy, and a little tired. What could I say? I thought there were a lot of maudlin, self-serving "tributes" all over the blogosphere. It was a horrible, dark, terrible day that affected me for days and weeks after. One silly stupid goose am I. I just could not figure out why I was having adjustment issuesto new work etc. I am a tough old bird, I can juggle with the best of them. So tired, feeling very poorly, persistant cough etc. Turns out I was trying to do it allwhile I had pneumonia.

AGAIN!Stupid Z.

Time to leave a capful of Advil out for Santa And deck the christmas trees with acrylic wigs Yes, it's the post Halloween /pre Xmas season at Target again. Hey boys. I added one new pic of Oliver Marach to the brflines site. It's a pretty good one, don't you agree?Cheers!.

Back in June, my sister rented a house in LBI for a week.

When we were kids, our family would rent a house there for a week every July. So many fond memories from my childhood! This year, my sister invited the boys and I to stay at their rental house in the town of Beach Haven for a couple days. My husband stayed home and caught up with some of the golf he missed while coaching baseball all spring! In the short time we were there, we hit many of the must-do-kid attractions: Like the awesome water-slide! As you can see, it wasn't even crowded that day. As I said, it was still June and some schools hadn't let out for summer yet. We practically had the place to ourselves! Even the "Crazy-Lazy River" was pretty empty! And miniature golf was fun as always! The beaches were as beautiful as I remember. And the boys did some serious boogie boarding while there! We spent an evening at the Fantasy Island Amusement Park and arcade. Even that was pretty empty. and clean. Earlier this month, I briefly mentioned merchant of doubt Simple Simon's master class in cherry-picking 'evidence' in The Conversation to claim that truths about e-cigs are actually myths. It would appear that Farsalinos isn't too impressed with what he is finding while doing just that. He is also having a lot of trouble with the authors of a recent study into flavourings in e-cigs. but no. Beet and Potato Salad, Gnocchi with Cheese, Swordfish Provencale, and Apple Upside Down Cake. It was all quite lovely - a small event, so I got to talk to everybody, which is nice. I have to say I was sort of dreading it.

Natick is a real strip mall sort of place.

Actual suburbia, which I realize I haven't spent much time in. Hey Bloggers. rank and Dan handed out Christmas gifts earlier in the week. Let the party begin. Being sick this year hasn't helped. We were planning to drive to Oklahoma between Christmas and New Year's Day. But friends don't let friends take Nyquil and drive, so we're staying home, and I'll seriously try to "rest. " I'm actually planning to do some minor DIY-type things around the house, clean the garage, and catch up on some reading. The first two installments of Myke Cole's Shadow Ops series were fresh and unlike anything else I had ever read. Both Control Point and Fortress Frontier were fun, intelligent, action-packed, and entertaining reads with a generous dose of ass-kicking! So with two quality yarns under his belt, the only question remaining was whether or not the author could close the show with style.

Once again, the answer is a resounding yes! In Breach Zone, Cole seems more mature as a writer and in better control of his craft.

Building upon storylines from the first two volumes, Cole brings everything together in one exciting finale which caps off this series in a very satisfying fashion. In the fight for Latent equality, Oscar Britton is positioned to lead a rebellion in exile, but a powerful rival beats him to the punch: Scylla, a walking weapon who will stop at nothing to end the human-sanctioned apartheid against her kind. Its Friday afternoon nap time which means I can wrap up writing about last weekend. This is one of our annual traditions with the kids and I love, love, love it! Last year, I had a pumpkin belly and we kept talking about how much fun it would be to have our guy with us this year. It was as great as we imagined! We headed straight for the petting zoo, as always.

I love the animals they have there and they appear very well taken care of.

We bought carrots to feed them and had a blast. We walked over to get on the hay ride and something terrible happened-my camera DIED! I couldn't believe it. Garlic Sauce can be used as a condiment on grilled meats, as a salad dressing, and in dishes that require good garlic flavor. Blend constantly on about medium.

Store in the refrigerator in a glass container.

Serve with meats, as a seasoning in salad dressings, grilled meat or on pocket bread sandwiches. S. friends! It's a few of days after, of course, but we enjoy our family time and meal times for longer than just one day. We like to slow the Christmas rush as much as possible! On Thursday we enjoyed a bountiful meal, and were so thankful for it.

And it seems that while other holidays might have cake taking the lead, this one seems to be a pie holiday! So.

GET YOUR PIE ON! Isn't that the cutest image? It's from Art Neko, and called, believe it or not, Get Your Pie On! I think it's so fun! I decided to jazz it up with my colored sequins, as if they were the sugar on top of the pie crust, and made a shaker card.

I stamped with a dark brown dye ink, and then colored in using Distress and Zig markers.

I hope you all have a wonderful week for the rest of November, celebrating your blessings no matter where you are!. .
